The Paint Sisters in Big Daddy’s in Henderson Kentucky

The Paint Sisters played in Henderson Kentucky for the 4th of July. We were at Big Daddy’s a real nice outside bar. Filled daily with fun and wonder crowd everyday.

The forth was usual packed with people watching us and the fireworks. What a night. Jill played a rockin guitar and Melissa belted out some of the best blues I have ever heard. It is so much fun playing with these woman.

The New Road Gig The Jill Sissel Band

Last weekend I launched the start of a new band since my band the Paint Sisters is no longer. The new band is called The Jill Sissel Band. I have signed Jill under my company Ficalora Music Productions to work and promote her music nationallly. We are starting out as a duo and will continue playing every weekend.
Her music can be heard at www.jillsissel.com

Hello world!

When did you get the drumming bug? Tell me what happened to you. When? Where? What happened at that moment? How old were you? What were you thinking at the time? I was 8 years old. I was on a cruise ship to Bahama’s and there was a Italian band on board. I just wanted to listen to the drummer and sit close. I didn’t care how loud it was I just loved the sound of the drums. It was at that moment that I got the bug. It took some convincing but I finally started 7 years later. Let me hear your stories.
